Mission
The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. Psalm 145:9
The Christian and Creation is dedicated to being a place of conversation about God, His Creation and our place on this earth as His Children. I hope to inspire discussion between Christ lovers and skeptics, new believers and those looking to re-ignite their faith in a glorious God.
This blog is a voice for Christian compassion for creation as detailed in Scripture, with the ultimate aim of glorifying the Creator. Scripture has something to say about God’s care for His creation, His glory as revealed in it and His plan to ultimately deliver it from the bondage of sin and corruption. And – considering the weight of these truths – our correct response as those entrusted with dominion over the natural world.
I encourage you to read the first three posts – a series – on my Scriptural basis for these beliefs. They were the first musings that inspired me to begin blogging.

I hope God uses this page to bring Christ followers together for the cause of glorifying Him in how we think about and care for His Creation. Thanks for visiting!

hey girl, you’re such an inspiration. I think I’m going to create a blog myself one of these days. For me, writing is a full body effort. It’s not my natural form of expression (namely, talking) so it takes intense concentration and a whole lot of drive and passion. But once produced, I’m always proud of my writings and wish that I’d unloaded their contents long before. There’s an experience of relief, as though a burden has been laid down.
Thank you so much for posting a link to Girl Talk on here. I was so encouraged and inspired to read Carolyn Mahaney’s (and daughters) godly wisdom, especially geared to those of us living the single life right now. Funny, I don’t really think of myself as “single” – it never occurred to me to label myself that way even when I wasn’t dating. But it fits all the same.
So stay tuned… you may have a blogger buddy on here before long. Keep up the good ramblings.
